About Hepa-Type™ filters
A Hepa-Type™ filter layer gives the user sub-micron particle filtration only. It is a filter that targets sub-micron particulates, ie less than 1 micron in size AKA ultra-fine particulates. As a single layer filter media (does not include DACC™), it has a very low inhalation resistance. For those who want to keep the fine respirable dusts out of their lungs if there are no gas or vapour pollutants in the immediate environment, this is the one for you.
